I agree, scroungers who can't be arsed to work shouldn't be able to afford the internet

That takes all the fun out of it. Town or coal gas was primarily carbon monoxide and hydrogen, making it very convenient for people planning their final exit.

I once lived three blocks from that landmark in a brownstone that still had working gas light fixtures although the mantles and globes were long gone.

If you're trying to have a go at me, you've failed. Just because I scrounge doesn't mean I think it's right.

I thought natural gas could still be used to top yourself?

He must have been having a truthful day. When he campaigned here during the Democratic primaries he said he had no plans to put coal plants out of business, unlike Biden's recent gaffe. That's a tactful thing to say in the state that has the largest recoverable coal reserve in the country.

You know that actually providing a link to a data source is of use to people - they can either agree or refute your claim.

Party? I don't belong to any party.

My preferred policy is pluralism; let people do and believe what they want, and see what works.

Work on mini-nukes or thorium or fusion or grid-scale storage or something for a hundred years, frack meanwhile.

Yeah, that whole "stick your head in the unlit oven deal" just doesn't work as well with natural gas. (It still can, but takes a lot more work...)

Gee Wiz comrade, why was it that the "rich got richer and the poor got poorer" under Obama's Great Recession and why is it that the Rich do so well under Bidenflation?

You got a propaganda narrative for that one too?
