As long as you aren't going out.
Not much going on over the weekend. A bit like the army, hurry up and wait ;-)

I'm loving it ...in the past I have always had itchy feet and was always wanting to be out and about going somewhere or other but now just enjoying the house and garden and all the things I have bought cheap over the years and never used because I was always out looking for more...still got hundreds of beta and vhs tapes to copy as well...imagine being stuck in a single end tenement flat ...or a house with no front garden just the odd black bin bag and a broken down BMW banger to look at...tee hee...doesn't bear thinking about.....tee hee

Loving it is a bit strong but things could be a lot worse. We had ordered loads of seeds, onion sets, etc which we hadn't had time to plant, they are now planted. We often plant such things and only a few make it due to our being away so much. Other things being caught up with.
Unlike Rambo, I don't send Mrs out 14 hrs a day.
Plenty of space plus, of course, going out isn't a problem if you have a valid reason.

Yes.... she used to do a couple of days a week, but since this virus kicked off it went mental, loads of staff disappeared. Still we have to look after the vulnerable in these times. Can't let em suffer can we... as well you know.
Ignore Reay's jibes..as usual he hasn't a clue.

A friend of mine got a food parcel delivered but never asked for it. She has no idea how they decided to deliver it, Much of it has been given away to others. Brian

It seems very odd - if you are genuinely in the at special risk category - that you can't get priority deliveries from a supermarket. All my pals who are in that category here do, and have done for more than a week. Most will deliver the next day.

Here, those at special risk got a letter from the NHS some weeks ago. Asking them to register on a government site. Which asked if you had family or friends who could do the shopping for you. If you answered no, the food parcels get sent. But that site also seems to inform the supermarkets so you get priority delivery. What happened here. So I no longer require the food parcels, as I'm perfectly able to pay for my food.

I'm not sure what the time from initial (new) 'order' to delivery is. Once set up, it is done in batches by area, or seems to be for obvious reasons.
Certainly the prescriptions are handled quickly, for obvious reasons.
The app is very slick.

You'd rather rely on friends to do your shopping for you - and for a prolonged period - rather than pay a supermarket to deliver?
Remind us of the country you live in...

Too many people who could shop for themselves are grabbing the delivery slots- aren't you listening to the supermarkets complaining of the abuse? People like Pamela who are scared of their own shadow have caused panic and others are too busy ignoring sensible precautions and going around coughing on people like Cole posted he was doing.

Some people are whining about the contents based on an early, example, list and photo. Needless to say they hadn?t seen the actual boxes, let alone the diet specific ones. Just the usual whiners like Spike who contribute nothing.

Not as shocking as how someone reacts when you tell them you can?t / wouldn?t anyway pull strings to get their kid into a particular school.
