What kind of water pump has a garden hose input up to about 2" pool hose?

I want to buy a portable pump (at least 1HP or more on 120VAC) that I can use for pumping out septic and/or pool water at will where in both cases I need a powerful vacuum for at least garden hose but maybe up to pool hose.
I already have a 5500gph Lanchez 1.6HP graywater pump which empties the pool with 20 feet of lift into a 2-inch pool hose but the input is an impeller on the base so the input isn't the 2" vacuum that I need.
Do you know of a 120 VAC (or maybe gas powered?) similar pump that can be used either to pump septic fluids or pool water (as I'll use the vacuum)?
What I need is the 2-inch vacuum port.

Can't help you but this reminds me of a sign I saw in one of the Unusual Sign videos.

While it would double as a septic pump & pool vacuum hose, it could also triple as a pool garden hose pusher venturi (vacuum) and maybe even quadruple as a pool aeration feature to bubble off carbon dioxide from the pool water in order to raise the pH without adding baking soda or soda ash.
Has anyone ever made a water filter out of the ones they sell for your faucet where I could send the water through that to collect pool grit?

The four things I could do with a pump with hoses on both ends are
I can use the 2-inch suction end of the pump to run a pool vacuum
I can use the garden-hose output end of the pump to run a pool venturi
I can use the garden-hose output to agitate the pool water (raises pH)
I can use the 2-inch suction end of the pump to clean out the septic
Now that I know how useful it is to have BOTH ends of a pump be connected to a hose (either 2-inch vacuum hose or 3/4-inch garden hose), I realize it was a waste of a hundred dollars to buy the current baseplate 120VAC pump.
But at least I can maybe drop the current baseplate graywater pump into the septic system if I ever get the town to send me original permit drawings.

The story slowly emerges .. drop by drop. Shopping for a multi-use pump that may or may not help ? .. find your septic tank lid - open it up - pump it out & inspect.
For my first home - the septic pumper had a small steel rod that he pushed into the ground to exactly locate the perimeter of the tank - from there he easily located the lids.
Depending on the fussiness of your municipality - and your neighbours - you'll want to tread carefully about any possible septic problems. .. lest a complaint results in a Health Dept. visit ..
The age of the septic system is important ; as are tree roots, soil conditions, area drainage ; changes in area drainage ; < it's been a very wet summer here >
The home where I grew up still has early 1960's clay tiles for the septic drainage ! .. long ago clogged with tree roots .. .. but with a single person living there - he gets by. The 3 homes that I've owned - over ~ 45 years - were on septic systems with never a problem. I'd get a pump-out about every 5 years. John T.

A 2 inch suction "hose" will need to be stiff enough to not collapse with up to 14.7 PSI trying to collapse it. That will be a heavy hose. Not easy to handle.
No one pump is likely to handle either a garden hose or a 2 inch hose well. They are two very different jobs.

I had never heard of a "trash pump" before, as I only know of "gray water" pumps - so if you can help with a description of each, that would be nice.
Even then, these are "semi-trash" pumps; what do these words mean to us?
In your list, I like this $430 "Semi-Trash Water Transfer Pump" the best.

Both of those are gasoline powered, where I was looking more for 120VAC.
For an extra $80, I could solve the water-feature aeration pump with this.

I've only had one house with a septic tank, between ages 10 and 19. My mother had it cleaned out once.
The patio was built over it, with a 4' circular hole for clean out. People say this is a bad idea if the tank ever needs removal. I was there 35 years after my family moved out, but the ground was covered with snow so I couldn't tell if the patio had been dug up.
One could tell where the finger system was because the grass was green there all summer, even when the rest of the lawn was light green. The last time this was discussed here, some people didn't believe me. But this was Indiana where it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime. I don't know how Roger Miller knew that.
We had 4 tulip trees. One was 2-3" in diameter and broken off at about the 4-foot level, before we got there so don't know how. It did nothing for 5 years and then started growing again, quite vigorously.

Gray water is like bath water, sink water - not clean water but no sewage or solids. Don't know how that is different from a clean water pump.
I think trash pump can include some small solids, maybe pea gravel.
No idea what semi-trash pump is.
Also no idea what you want to do - particularly pumping a septic system. You may not know enough to know what specs you need in a pump.
If you have a pump and are pumping water that is a lower level you are lifting it on the suction side (vacuum in your post?). The theoretical max lift is 32 ft. Practical lift is less. Lift is vertical distance from water to pump. If you are lifting you may need to "prime" the hose and may need a "foot valve" at the bottom. A jet pump is different but not likely what you would use.

Suction side is a better terminology, although for a pool, we often use the word vacuum - but I agree that when talking about pumps, suction is a better term for the input side (where the output side is less critical).
The lift is dependent on the hose diameter too, I think, where my plan is to use two-inch wide typical pool vacuum hoses because I already have them.
All the pool pumps (and the water pressure booster pump) are jet pumps. But they're all bolted to the ground.
What I'm looking for is a dual purpose portable 120VAC pump where I guess I can use a gasoline powered pump if that's all that does both purposes.
I want to be able to put the 2-inch suction side of the pump onto a 2-inch-diameter hand-held pool vacuum (on a long pole) to vacuum the bottom of the pool. This type of vacuum is normally attached to the pool filtering system so it will require some kind of filter in the middle (as this type doesn't usually have a filter bag).
I want to be able to put the garden hose output of the pump into a garden hose which is attached to a hand-held pool vacuum venturi (which is less powerful) which usually has its own filter bag to catch the debris that is suctioned up by the output water pressure going past the venturi.
If possible, but far less important, I'd like to use the garden hose output of the pump to create a water feature so that the water is aerated which bubbles off carbon dioxide which raises the pH level.
Lastly, if possible, if I ever need to suction out the septic system, it would be nice to use the 2-inch vacuum hose to suction out the sewage to use as ground-based fertilizer (which I can cover with a layer of soil if I need to hold down on the fumes - but in a good windy day, the fumes will be blown away in only a matter of hours).
The septic system part of the goal is a stretch goal as if I'm going to buy a pump sufficient to run a 2-inch-wide vacuum hose, I may as well make sure it's dual purpose enough to suction out sewage that may be in the septic tanks and use that sewage for topside fertilizer (if possible).
But the main goal is the 2-inch-wide suction side attached to a pool vac.
Do you think this $250 2-inch gasoline suction pump will do both purposes?

Why not just forget the septic use - you'll likely try it only once - before you realize the awful stink & trouble isn't worth the "fertilizer" value. John T.

Then what is the input? Submersible? If submersible you can't drop it in the pool? Use for application #2?
You can't use them for application #2? Or if one is for filter now add a venturi for application #1 Far as I know, a jet pump is a pump, probably centrifugal, and a venturi. Your pumps probably have the venturi as part of the pump. I think if the pump is above water level it has to be primed (part of the water path filled with water) to work, but then can stop and start if it doesn't loose its prime.
My guess is there is a venturi in the filter line which has a suction port that attaches to the pool vac. The filter line venturi shouldn't have a priming issue.
Would a new pump have too high a flow rate for this use? Does a new pump have to be primed?
I think a pump is likely to have the same size in and out ports. You can modify the size of what is attached. Particularly if you reduce the size it affects the pump rate.
I haven't played with pools but this sounds more practical to me. Does a new pump have to be primed? What pump rate does the venturi want?
Do you know how 'thick' or solid the sewage is? Will a pump pump it? You said a sewage pump "macerates" the sewage. Will a 2" hose rapidly get blocked? I doubt you can make this work. IMHO this is really not a good idea in general.
Advice from someone who understands pools would be a real good idea.
Electric shock should be a major concern.

I have NEVER seen a pool pump that was a jet pump. Jet pumps are usually used for well or shallow well pumps.
Even hot tub pumps that power jets in the tub are not jet pumps.
Jet pumps are usually used for well pumps because they can bring deep water up and create high pressure for house usage.
They use part of the pumped water as a jet to push the incoming water to a higher pressure entering the impeller..
Pool pumps are standard impeller pumps, without the jet.
Any pump that can pump sewage is likely to be way less efficient than the pumps for your other needs.
Are you not concerned about disease from using sewage for fertilizer without proper treatment?
It is going to cost you a lot to run.
A couple electric pumps will take way less space than that.
You can get used pumps, often free, if you watch freecycle or other local sharing sites.
