Don't be silly. Brexiteers all think we can grow things - on that money tree. They seem to be all about importing things as cheaply as possible without a thought on how we earn the money to pay for them.

I'd be pretty sure. When I worked in s supermarket we used to skimp on putt ing out the suger we had bags we brought cheap and I mean bags measuring wh en stacked over 6ft high and about 4ft by 4ft. Impling there was a shortage , it's amazing how stupid peole can be, then putting the price up and putti ng a few dozen bags out every hour so it looked like we had limited stocks, fooled everyone, who kept coming in buying more than they needed. We did t he same with butter but we couldn;t keep as much due to needing refridgerat ion.

What do you thinbk it will do to the EU econamy if as we buy more than we s ell we stop buying french cheese and wine, what will happen first will we a ll never drink wine or eat cheese again, what will happen the Frances expor ts of cheese.

What you fall to understand about economies is that a buyer needs a seller and a seller needs a buy cut one off the other is affected.

The EU will fall apart as it find it;s can't support itself without the bil lions the UK pumps in and the exports they send us.

The EU will try and do a Trump by appling tarrifs and what has that done f or the USA ? a start of shortfall of 12 billion to the US farmers, and tha t;s just because of a few products not a whole nations food supply.

We can but most of us don't earn money from growing things.

I know how I'll earn it, from foreign students who pay more than UK ones, as we have been doing for 2 decades or more, better to ignore the home students and get money from the better off foreign ones. For some reason they see the UK as good at education, as for the rest of you if you aren't in the service or banking sectors you better start practicing fruit picking.

The sky won't fall in but we're going to be less well off and improvements in standard of living will happen more slowly than in other countries.

Britain will once again become the shabby part of Western Europe. Meanwhile countries we looked down to economically, such as Ireland, are forging ahead.

We have run down our customs posts, because so much stuff comes through on the nod. It will take time to recruit and train new people. Build new infrastructure, etc. So, yes, if we crash out of the EU there will be an immediate shortage.

There's no point in you, personally, buying a year's worth of baked beans, because if you look well-fed the mob will take them away from you.

What I keep asking Charles. Many don't seem to be in the least bit worried about firms relocating at least part of them outside the UK because of Brexit, with precious few doing the opposite.

All they seem worried about is being able to buy cheap rubbish food from the US. And some noisy boat anchor of a vacuum cleaner that probably doesn't even exist.
