Last time I glued up something with a mess of clamps like that, I did it on 4 or 5 2x4 sitting on the ground. Wasn't going to take any chances on gravity taking over.

I estimate that I had about 250 lbs on the one saw horse and the other was probably carrying 50lbs. Not too long ago I had 12 sheets of 3/4" plywood on top of those two horses.

I just bought a couple of DeWalt replacements, their rating is 2500 per pair IIRC. Steel legs.

Well actually I strongly considered this until I remembered how much it cost. It has green and similar in price to the green you were referring to. I might have bit for $200, $400 no.

Yikes! I have eight or ten of those same saw horses. I've used them for everything but, I guess fortunately, have been phasing out their use.

Plastic tends to degrade over time. I've had mine for eight or ten years so I guessed I've been warned.

Too much plastic I guess.. Under a load the legs would splay out a bit by bending.

It's a shame, they showed no signs of being over loaded, as it turns out they were rated for 1,000 lbs. in pairs. At least the new DeWalts that I bought have steel legs and 2.5 times more capacity.

I use mine mostly for finishing, anymore, so they might last a little while longer.
