It also can't be consumed by 2/3rds of the adult population (who haven't yet developed a tolerance to such) and isn't consumed by many cultures who see it as being the bizarre practice that it is. Especially these days when there are so many perfectly viable milk / yogurt alternatives (sheese still has a long way to go).

Re roadkill, it'd very much down to the individual Vegan to decide what's right for them. Some consider it wrong because 'we' have still generally had a part in that animals death whereas others are happy for that animals death not be in vain.
But it's not a plant it's an animal and does many things animals do.

Your valid point being why would someone produce milk, which provides a cheap and valuable source of nutrition for people who simply can't afford any alternatives, if this is cruel to cows.
