Shame on CBS !

Just watching the evening lies , and they have so far done 2 short segments about the race car noose guy . Only thing is , the "noose" turns out to be a pull cord dangling from the roll-up door . And NOT ONCE did they mention that VERY important fact . Gee , I wonder if they have an agenda ?

Heard about it but had not looked at pictures. What a fraud. Fake news is the leadership of the democrat party.

NBC actually told the real story. The loop in the end of that rope was there 5 months before Bubba got that stall. It wasn't really a noose, just a loop tied in the end of the rope they use to pull the garage door down. I suppose they could tie a monkey fist on the end but I bet that would piss people off too. ;-)

It was mentioned on NBC.

I threw out a pair of shoes today. I looked at the laces and they looked like a noose at the top so I'm afraid to wear them.

You should have watched the CBS Evening News this evening because you would have seen the updates to the story. Today CBS reported that it was a pull cord that was tied up to look like a noose, and that it had been there since last year, and that it was just random that Bubba Wallace had only recently been assigned to that garage. Taken all together, the noose was not directed to Bubba Wallace.

I guess you missed all of that on the CBS Evening News today.

After they called in the FBI to investigate a garage door pull one can only assume the FBI's measured response was 'you f****ng idiots'

That's on par with seeing nooses in a do-it-yourself challenge course.

I did notice radio silence right after the first reports of a black guy hanging from a tree near city hall. I'm thinking no way could they spin that into anything than a suicidal dindu.

Years ago we all got unsolicited deliveries if cueCats.

The USB cable was long enough to fashion a proper hangman's noose so most of the cats wound up hanging from cubicle walls. The PC police would send all the programmers to Sensitivity Bootcamp these days.

I always tie monkey fists on the end of my pull cords but I bet that would be racist too

No, it isn't.

You expected Bubba Wallace and his team to do a full investigation on their own before reporting it to authorities? Get real. He and his team did exactly the right thing. They reported it and the investigators did an investigation.

Mike Greenberg of the ESPN show Get Up had a segment on it. No idea if he independently investigated or relied on the CBS story. I don't see his show every day so I don't know if he's retracted the false story.

The nasty habit of the media is to throw crap like this out there then quietly come back and correct it. It still has the desired negative influence.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure I watched the CBS Evening News last night. If not, then it was NBC. And whichever one it was, I saw and noticed exactly what Terry said. They reported that the noose turned out not be have been a racial thing, but nothing about what it actually was. They just quickly mentioned it and moved on. I heard elsewhere, something about it having been used to pull down the door, that it was in the garage since October of last year. And even then, they quickly glossed over it, no details.

So, there are a lot of questions here and again this biased media won't do their jobs. If Trump or a Republican was involved there would be endless questions, instead they just ran with a half-assed story and now won't report, have no interest in, the full story, the truth. Let's start with this. Where exactly in the garage was this rope? Who reported it? Who looked at it, checked it out? If it was located like you claim, on the bottom of the door to be able to pull it down, since October, how the hell did anyone legitimately think this was a noose, a racial incident. Is Bubba Wallace totally stupid? He didn't check out WTF this was all about, what it really was, before playing the victim, taking his victim lap with all the media in tow? Why were no pictures of it shown so we can see if it really was a noose or just a piece of rope to pull a door down? Sorry, but I don't buy this BS and this story is looking a lot like another faked Jussie Smullet racist incident. Real reporting would have covered all these obvious questions. Instead we have a bunch of lib hacks who are only capable of doing their jobs if it fits their agenda.

The freaking "noose" was in the garage since October. They didn't think it was a noose in Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May, but suddenly now it's a racial noose? Where are the pictures of what it really looks like? Excuse me for being skeptical, but I bet if it looked like a real noose, we'd have pictures of it all over the media by now. Are the press even asking, WHERE IS THE NOOSE? Right not this looks like a Jussie Smullet classic.

When will the investigators investigate all the "peaceful" arsonists and looters.

Will the "peaceful" thugs have to pay for the damage they caused?

Or do they have some kind of "thug privilege"?

Asplundh is trimming trees down the street.  Are the arborist knots they use racist?

Maybe I'll call the FBI.

I believe I heard that some of the drivers are calling him Bubba Smullet.

Well, maybe. If he came to may garage he'd find the same thing on the emergency cord. I tied it to not bump my head. Sometimes people want to see things aimed at them and enjoy the attention. He's been getting some publicity lately. Now I am cynical so I wonder if it was Jessie Smollet Lite.

Which was the lead on my CBS affiliate. Perhaps you fell asleep during that part of the broadcast.

I think he was over reacting. A simple "How long has this been here"? would have made the problem go away pretty quickly. You know damned good and well the people who work there year around saw that every day and they could have told him.
