And I used to work with Germans who brought their equipment to the UK where we have non-standard mains plugs. Most of them didn't ask me for adapters, they just jammed a screwdriver into our earth hole to open the sockets and pushed the EU plug in with some force. Worked fine. Sounds like improvisation to me.

My point was that having no DST is great for me if the biggest problem I have is that some of my TV programs change times. Apparently I was a little too vague for some...
