Petrol or Diesel car?

Just get some little mini, cheaper, less fuel, saves the planet better than manufacturing complex Priuses. I would like a Smart, as it addresses the other issue, congestion, a little.

This one is now a clear idiot and joined the ranks on the uk-d-i-y Lunatic Association (president the The Plantpot) .

Great deal. The Prius is a far bigger car, not a "MINI" car.

Fast it is.

As fast as any other car on normal roads. It keeps up and goes past them.

Most do not, only once in a blue moon. The world does not work like you do.

Yep I gave the explanation. You obviously could not understand

Diesels are just plain crap and an expensive repair bill looms. Tractors.

You read it. Smoooooooooooooth..........

Er, based on a Morris OXFORD actually.

the Minort had the A series engine ala sprites, midgets, and later teh mini and 1100..the B series engine was first used in IIRC the oxford, and powered the MGA, Magnette, and MGB.

Because most diesels have one. Like I said, if you try and stretch out your servicing intervals which most folks do when the cars out of warranty then the turbo will suffer a very shortned life.

You are making things up again!!!!!!! Now stop this tomfoolery,

BTW, the Chevy Volt will cover approx 69% to 97% of driving by pure electric battery power. The rest is covered by an efficient petrol genny. The Volt will not be as fuel efficient as a 60mpg Prius on long trips since it will have to stop for petrol approx twice as often and then gets approx 58.5 mpg. When the battery is drained it runs from the genny only. It has small petrol tank But the Volt can be charged from the grid and in normal usage the running costs will be super cheap. So, overall the car will be buttons to run.

Most people don't sit on motorways morning noon and night. The Volt is a big step forwards to the full EV, using 100% electric propulsion. Roll on and and scrap the tractors.

"Doctor Drivel" gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

ITYM "as well as". Oh, yes - and the increased unsprung weight of the regenerative braking kit.

Sorry, I meant from somebody credible.

It is pre-requisite to have one when driving a BMW or Merc.
