How large of a file? Some servers won't accept the huge jpg files. Some take a long time to show.

Flickr.com account is free, photos stay up forever, you can upload a hundred meg a month with no limit on the amount you have stored.

If that is one photo, try resizing it to a more reasonable 100 to 150k
