Nope, wrong. You said you considered the losses, not the matter. You lied.

I wanted to know whether you were gay - in which case, you use of the word "dear" is a perfectly acceptable commonality to another man. If you are not gay, and thought me to be female, then "dear" is commonly used in a condescending and patronising manner. Come to that, assuming my gender and then behaving in a different way is not acceptable.

Why do you think it is abusive to be asked if you are gay?

That, I doubt. I suspect if you knew my ethnicity, you'd happily play on that as well.

You really are a clueless idiot, have you ever stopped to think why a retailer can sell a product at a premium price point when a retailer who sells on the 'stack-it-high, sell-it-cheap' can't at the same location?...

Ah. Trader Joe's, by any chance? I can't remember how large they are, but I do like their stuff. I am also very partial to two buck Chuck.

To me, a lot of the mass produce is grown for size and looks, not always taste? But then, California is a desert. :)

Absolutely. I had terrific strawberries from the place close to Carlsbad Airport that grows them, and whose name has left my head.

Yes, there are a multitude of reasons.

Mostly influenced by the demographic of the area.

No. It. Doesn't.

Are you now suggesting that Iceland should change their business model to offer mostly a range of premium priced fresh products? - 'cos I can see that really going down well in Pontypridd, for example.....

I suggest that you go away and do some reading about this before you emerge in Australia.

You care more about presentation and payment, by your own admission. If you cared about real quality, and sourcing, you'd also be shopping in real greengrocers, butchers and fishmongers.

You're the one seeking to impose their own brand views.

Exactly so.

Wine boxes were most useul; if they were too big you could cut them down.

I've just received an item from a seller in a "Tesco Medium Postal Box" ... so they are selling them rather than giving them away now!

Didn't somebody say that Tesco had an eBay sellers' package?

Probably not if your Lidl is closer.

You can't eat Body Shop products for one thing. That's a totally different market. And you do know how long that took?

That would be why they are doing 20 percent year on year, then.

I guess that your local branch of Tesco doesn't have very many fires, or customers suing for injury after tripping over the boxes.

I don't think that it's happened here either, but The Management seem to think that it might.

Bah!
