It's the Guardian, he wouldn't have a clue what the words meant.
If it isn't spelt out with pictures in the gutter press, then you can be sure it's merely headline snipping

I think it probably will have to be built as Nuclear is still the best insurance against lack of wind or sun. You do not want to be like China, loads of electricity from renewables, but most of it is lost getting it to where the people live! Brian

Here's another, just for you (no one else will be the least bit surprised)
If California & Germany had invested all the money that they have put into renewables into nuclear instead, they would already have 100% clean electricity

Its amazing that Corbyn still attracts voters.
Hard socialism was discredited in the 70s.

We were taught in our O-Level European History course about how the peoples of the Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, etc) had all hated each other for centuries.
"Of course", said another member of staff, "all that is forgotten now under the wise socialist leadership of Mr. Tito".
Well that ended well, eh?
I seem to remember that a philosopher once said that those who forget the lessons of history are condemned to relive them, but I forget who it was.
Another one said that, against fools, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

He held them together by brute force, mass executions and fear, just like all the other post-war socialist leaders, Stalin, Ceausescu, Hodja, Zhivkov etc.

He didn't do mass executions. And plenty of the population were into mixed marriages etc too. Problem was that once the very gung ho state was gone, it all came unstuck very quickly indeed once those like Mladic etc were free to do whatever they felt like doing.

You could argue that the breakup of Yugoslavia and resulting genocide, like the 'Arab Spring', was brought about by US agents using American money in vast quantities to promote anti-social thugs to positions of power. YMMV

You could argue that. You could also argue that the moon is made of green cheese.

No its not. He also appeals to those who prefer free university education and the state doing stuff like the railways etc.
The problem with those policies is how they are paid for now.

I'm not convinced about that. Those who want no university or college fees mostly do expect to be paying income tax after they qualify and those who believe that the railways should be state owned and run do expect to pay to use them, just think its better as a government monopoly.

That was just your claim and I was pointing out that many who do want to see his policies implemented do actually have jobs.

I've never bought that line either. Many who are in favour of remaining in the EU like Colin just believe it would be better for the economy. It remains to be seen if they are right about that or not.

Not really given that plenty choose to vote for something for free for themselves like free university education etc.

But that was before most of those who would like to see free university education were even born. And that isn't hard socialism anyway.
