OT: Aye, caramba! 350KW charging for new Porsche?

Question

This is for the soon to be released Porsche electric vehicle:

"Porsche is talking about a 800-volt system that should allow a charge rate of up to 350 kW, which could charge the car up to 80% in only 15 minutes."

That's more than 7 times the 200A capacity of my whole house.

"The company plans to deploy hundreds of stations capable of delivering that charge rate, including a recently announced network of 500 EV charging stations in North America."

I'm sure they will have one here at the local supermarket or train station, right?

Come to think of it, a train station parking lot, at least on electrified lines, would be a perfect charging location.

The infrastructure in present for a humoungous amount of electricity to go to that railroad right of way to power up those trains, and it's not a steady load.

The electric companies would _lurve_ to use that spare capacity for the 95 percent (nighttime), or ten percent (rush hour) that there's no train drawing it.

Obviously there'd be a cutoff of the personal exlectric cars when the train is running through.

Hmmmmmmmm...
