Assuming you park it on your drive etc ( or in a garage with power), have you considered running a float chart cable to the battery without removing the battery from the car or even disconnecting it.
Before anyone says you can?t do it, it is standard practice in several applications without modifications to the the vehicle other than adding the charge wiring and, sometimes, the charger.
I did it for one of my vehicles, a CRV. I used a couple of ?power pole? connectors just in case I, or anyone else, tried to move the vehicle. Everything was fused etc. A diode arrangement prevented external shorts causing a problem to the car, .... It was ideal for when we went away on long trips and the CRV was left unused.
Removing the cables etc was easy when I disposed of the car a couple of years ago.
