are having another free delivery day today (no postage or handling charge) for orders over £10.

Type "webfree" in the comments box at checkout, the handling charge will still show on the invoice but will be subtracted before they debit the account. One order per account limit.

Thanks Peter, please keep the tips coming. I unsubscribed to the email alerts years ago as they got a bit too frequent and spammy, how are they now?

My group tip for the day is:

AV1918387 SCART LEAD 1M POSITIVE LOCKING £0.30 ea +VAT (0.28 for 5+)

It's flat so individually screened too.

Every day. But not a problem unless you're on dialup.

I ordered a few bits and pieces on the last free day. But cocked up using their code. Got a letter a few days later saying my next purchase would be post free. Must get that code right. ;-)

Interestingly, the free post stuff took much longer to arrive than is usual for CPC - it normally comes early the next day, even when ordered late afternoon.

Anywhere I can steal them from. Unless you thought I wrote them myself. ;-)

Yes. The newsreader inserts them at random. In theory. But I have a feeling it may try to word match.

I did a Farnell order on a 10% off day, quoted the magic word correctly in the right place (as shown on the invoice too), but the 10% discount didn't materialise. Couldn't be arsed to do anything about it, but Farnell moved down the pecking order and lost out to RS and Rapid for some later orders.

I did an order yesterday morning @ 07:40. I checked sometime in the evening and it was still "processing" (i.e. not shipped, so I thought no chance of it arriving today, but it did.

I bought one of the tiny ones from them just before Xmas. Cost about 15 quid. Provided more lasting pleasure for the assembled company at Xmas than any board game costing rather more. And it still works just fine.

Now I'll *have* to get one!

Got my delivery about 1030 today. Two fans for the kids...!
