Stopping gun violence

Seems that much of the problem is illegal guns. This seems to be a way of eliminating the problem permanently

Prince George County police believe Camisha Jenifer and Kyree Duvall met up just before midnight on Friday to make a deal involving a firearm, though it?s not clear what triggered the double shooting that ensued.

Jenifer reportedly drove herself to a hospital, where she died from her injury. Duvall was found wounded at the crime scene and rushed to a hospital where he, too, succumbed to his wounds.

Investigators believe Jenifer and Duvall shot one another. It?s unclear who was buying and who was selling. Jenifer and Duvall were among six people killed in gun violence in Prince George County over the weekend.

Let me guess -- they were people of color. I'm sure they were in compliance with all applicable laws.

A search for images of Kyree turned up lots of Nordic types.

Does that mean Teddy owned an illegal car?

There are no dangerous weapons. There are only dangerous men.

My point too and we know that libs want to call all guns illegal and take them all away.

You think that. That is not, nor has ever been, true.

Spoken like a true socialist lyin' son of a bitch . You commie cocksuckers know well that you have no chance of taking this country over as long as we have arms to defend ourselves . THAT'S WHAT THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS ALL ABOUT you stupid f*ck !

One of the commies I have blocked and otherwise would have not seen. Of course that is their purpose and most of us know the 2nd amendment is not about hunting.

Newt Gingrich said it well: "The left knows that the answer is gun control; they just don't know what the question is" ;-)

I don't think the Fiden guy knows what "communism" is. He probably thinks any country that is not far right-wing is "communist". LOL []'s

It has to do with control. UK does have a lot of things that would make Marx proud tho.

That may be a thing in the big democrat cities but I have never even heard of a jaywalking ticket here. The cops don't write a lot of any kind of tickets. I got a warning for 68 in a 45 (23 over). They actually understand we want them to catch the criminals who steal our stuff and not just take a report and file it somewhere.

For certain areas in some cities the cops don't seem to pay much attention to speeders. I am not well traveled, but the few times I was in Atlanta on the interstate if you are not going at least 15 mph over the speed limit you are holding up traffic. I forgot the town I was in but was keeping up with traffic and going about 60 in a 45 mph zone. A cop fell in behind me and I knew he was going to stop me as I was from out of state. He followed me for a half mile or so and then he found a way to get around me. I guess I was holding him up from the 'hot now ' sign at the local donught place.

I do think now that while they do understnd we want them to catch criminals, with the way the system is now, the best thing for them to do is clear the area and stop by later and fill out a report. Forget about arresting anyone.

I am pretty happy with the sheriff here. They actually catch guys breaking into cars, or prowling around homes at night and when they perp walk them, it is on TV. When I was in DC the cops never caught anyone. The DC cops did a study on armed robbery and determined the chance of being caught for robbing someone at gunpoint was one in 260. That was arrests, not convictions. The study was covered up. I only heard about it from a disgruntled cop I went to high school with. (and still know).

Try that today and the cops will be out of a job, maybe in jail theirselves. Just too many snowflakes in the country now. There is just no respect for the police and the tough job they have to do.

Wow, could you be a bigger jerk? It was far more likely that the officer was responding to a non-emergency call.

If it was a non emergency call the cop should not have been going over the speed limit by over 20 MPH without his emergency lights going.

Yup, too much CCTV and phones around. But it didn't stop them in Miami/Dade even though he gave up. 15+ on a cuffed guy was a little excessive.
