Oh, mine are 16". I thought 19" was the common standard. I might be thinking of my Golf, that had low profile tyres - and a very good grip.
What's ridiculous about that?
Bigger diameter wheels are a pest, they rub the wheelarch when turning sharply.

Ah, I assumed you meant a public road.
And the concept of private property doesn't hold in the UK.
So some drivers have the intelligence of a cow?
I find the faster you go the more pleasant they are. The car doesn't have time to sink between each bar.
BMW drivers are not the brightest. However BMW headlights are, if you have the misfortune to be driving the opposite way, you won't be able to see where you're going. They're only outdone by idiot cyclists with flashing (!) headlights.

Funny how they work in the fusebox in the UK.
They don't protect against live to neutral.
I removed the earth from my microwave since a parrot liked to sit on it and chew the wire. Earth is the stupidest most dangerous invention ever. Lets make it more likely current flows through your heart if you happen to touch a live.

Marijuana? That makes me concentrate better, so does alcohol. I was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt, and the stupid pigs didn't notice I was both drunk and stoned.
Huh?

Even so which bit of EU regulation made Snow tyres illegal in the UK??

I just looked up Judge Judy as I've never heard of it.
"The show featured Sheindlin as she adjudicated real-life small-claims disputes within a simulated courtroom set. Prior to the proceedings, all involved parties signed arbitration contracts agreeing to Sheindlin's ruling."
I interpret that as "the jury were bribed to vote one way" - is that correct?

In the UK I find £50 budget lasts 3 months. £70 midrange lasts 2 years. £130 Michelin lasts 2 years. So I buy midrange. I can't tell the difference in ride quality. The suspension takes the knocks, not the tyres.

It's high time we deleted the media. Nothing good comes of their lies. Perhaps if everybody refuses to pay the fee to read their online stuff, they'll go bankrupt and piss off?

Your test is faulty. Unless it's entirely our doing, it's an EU thing we do not want.

I blame the French, they want me to carry a warning triangle, spare bulbs, and a hi vis jacket! Needless to say I never do.

It is necessary here to distinguish between EU Regulations, which had immediate effect, and EU Directives, which had to be incorporated into UK-made law.
Not while the UK remained a member state. Treaties.
The Regulations will have done, the Directives must have their UK laws repealed.
I think that would be entertaining. The Germans have a word for it.
The Scots do, I hope, understand that they will have to put in their share of the remaining North Sea oil and gas as a Common European Resource, as Heath did for our fishing rights.
Scotland will also have to create a currency and a central bank and operate them within the Maastricht Criteria for two years before being 'allowed' to join the Euro. Unless, of course, the EU considers the Treaties which established it to be so much waste paper.

What a stupid thing to agree to.
They should have done a fast track removal of everything with an EU source. That's what leaving means!
The Third Reich?
Does that mean some coal under Paris is rightfully belonging to any EU country which wants it?
I hope the EU tell us to f*ck off. Or the SNP has a referendum and we tell the SNP to f*ck off.
The EU would never consider anything a waste of paper, they love their silly little rules.

Fast enough and it's mostly noise. Washboard roads are the same if you have the balls.
Pickups with HID are even worse since they're at eye level if you're in a passenger car. I've wondered about bicycles with flashing taillights. There are no street lights for about half of my drive home from work, and not a lot of traffic. I see a flashing red light in the darkness and I tend to drift towards it with target fixation. Not the intended consequence.

Nothing if they were bias plies. Radials on a 2200 lb car should be good for at least twice that. I replaced them with Cooper CS5's that come with an 80K warranty. I traded the car in before they were hardly worn.

What is a washboard road?
Any cyclist wearing a helmet, lycra, or operating a light in broad daylight, and I drive 3 inches from them, they hate that. Any cyclist flashing his headlight at me, I flash mine back. One time I actually could not see ahead of me, and was either going to run him over or collide with the opposite hedge. I engaged full beam simply so I could see. My window was wound down at the time so I instinctively shouted "WANKER!"

Dafuq? I've never had a tyre last more than 10K. That includes Michelin. Rubber wears out.

There is no such thing as a rolling diameter, since a wheel on the road under load is not a circle
