Hi All,
I had to use weather seal tape on a window a few years back. The tape eventually crystalized and fell off. But it left a dried glue mess on the window.
Any of you guys have a magic bullet to clean off the dried on goo?
Many thanks,
-T

Razor?, goo-gone?
No magic bullet, but try acetone and maybe a scraper. Acetone is a dandy solvent for many chemicals that water and alcohol won't touch. This is off the top of my head. Good luck!
On glass I use a razor blade
Google sez:
To remove dried glue from weather seal tape, you can use a combination of heat and a solvent like oil, vinegar, or alcohol to soften the adhesive before scraping it off with a plastic tool. You can also use a product like Goo Gone or 3M Adhesive Remover for tougher cases
Try WD40 .
I've had good luck with kerosene, followed up with detergent and water. I think the starter fluid for bar-b-que is mostly kerosene.
I've often seen (vegetable) oil recommended.
What surface<s> are you cleaning ? Window glass ; window frame ; both ? .. ... so many questions ..
The glass
