It sort of makes you wonder why he "wants to move onto other things", huh?
Looking at his numbers it looks like he's been grossing about 60K a year, which sounds good until you consider that he's buying materials, paying taxes, paying the accountant, paying the lawyer, paying the web maintainer, and probably working 80 hour weeks in the process.
He does seem to have a real product though-- googling it you find reviews and discussions and comparisons with other products. OTOH, it seems that the company changed hands in 2014-- presumably owning his own busines turned out to not be what he expected.

the guitar market is really tough there is a niche there but it is too small and too odd
he should have off shored the operation
Yes, I was thinking it would only make sense if you also had a guitar store--but it's difficult to be in two places at the same time. Maybe the only one making money is the person you pay to give lessons.
