Slow the spread. Prevent the health care system from becoming overloaded. And it worked.

I don't wear any advertisements, even sports teams. Snow? I find it difficult to breathe with one on, particularly if it's warm (inside) and even harder to see.
Amazing.
It can hurt. Bacteria aren't anything to sneeze at either. Masks are a huge breeding ground. Doctors don't wear _one_ all day. Some people even wear gloves. Double dumb.
Likewise, I don't care if others wear them but I still reserve the right to laugh at them.
No, and I don't bitch if a merchant requires a mask, either. I dislike it immensely but it's their establishment. I can go in or not. I can still laugh at them.
Bullshit. Masks weren't even worn when "flattening the curve" was a thing. Even Sir Fauci was telling us *NOT* wear them.
?There?s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you?re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it?s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences ? people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.? --Lord Fauci
Like I said, leftists lie, always.
If it's hard for you to see when wearing a mask, you might be wearing it wrong. ;-)
I don't wear _one_ all day either. I have washable masks and disposable masks. MD's, nurses, PT's, etc. also have washable masks and disposable masks. Time-wise, they are wearing masks for substantially more hours than I ever will. I'm exposed to (mostly) my own bacteria during those short stretches when I wear a mask. They are exposed to some pretty nasty stuff (and people) day in and day out. There is really no comparison.
Did you put tape over the big N on your New Balance 4E's? ;-)
Nah, when I'm wearing a mask, I'm always walking around in a fog.
Washable mask do absolutely nothing. ...other make people feel good. N95s, maybe but just maybe.
Pants. ;-)
...and ?people? includes the CDC.
The CDC speaks out both sides of its mouth too.
