first point of the thread was just to point out a good deal
the other point was that reconditioned can mean something or nothing at all
and in fact using that term gives the manufacturer a way to undercut their own distributor pricing while not digging into the customer base of their distributor
so the wording just gives them plausible deniability if they are ever called out on it
so a reconditioned might never had any extra hands on and is just the same as a new one that comes right off the assembly line into a box
but they also really do have real reconditioned products but maybe they have so few due to cad and cam so they sell new ones as to attract customers to the reconditioned sales channel
