Is anyone using the 34-928 miter gage from Delta? They call it the deluxe miter gage and I believe it's shipping with some of the upper end Delta saws. The gage seems to have a thumb lever so that you can move from slot to slot for the pre-set angles. My question is, is there something that holds the lever out of the way when you need to tighten the gage at angles other than those that have slots? For instance there is a slot at 22 1/2 but if I need 23 do I have told down on the lever while I turn the gage and tighten it down? Or, is there a position where the thumb lever is not active at all?
