Windpower-An informed and interesting view

It does raise an interesting question towards the bottom though. Is it practical to combine PV and thermal in one panel? One assumes that PV panels, even without some form of light concentrator get hot so if you cool 'em surely you harvest even more of the energy per unit area?

It doesn't get around that PV cells are expensive both on the enviroment and finincial but adding water cooling to the assembly wouldn't add much to the cost thus improving the return.

Why doesn't anyone do "joined up thinking" anymore?

Its not tort at skoool.

The last engineer died.

Unless they can do an interactive whiteboard quiz on it they're not interested.

The message from Richard Downing contains these words:

Rex Garrod and Tim Hunkin are both still going!
