toilet fill value plastic nut size

Hi all, I need to get a box spanner for the plastic back nut used to fix a new fill valve in. Half inch thread. These all seem to have the same size plastic back nut, but I forgot to bring in the but into work. Does anyone know what size box spanner is required ?
