Stop making things up.

A surveyor will give the low down.

My God. Get it bulldozed now and build a real house.

Any evidensce of this, or are you making it up again?

What tripe. The poly membrane is under the plasterboard, and is to prevent warm moist air penetrating the hollow walls. The outside should have breathable material to release any water vapour. The condition you describe is called interintestinal condensation.

The amount of timber framed homes that were built in the 1970/80s that had major structural problem was far less in percentage terms than masonry homes.

More tripe. Depends on what type of Potton home you buy. Timber framed walls are the same whether structural or not.

I lived in a proper house with heating and a bathroom and all that.

Well off then eh?

Neither did the council house dwellers.

Thanks to the Atlee government.

I assume you joined the union then?

So you never joined the union then?

Only because of your snot connections.

Money, and snot principles.

Badly of course.

Too late as you already built the house.

Since when does socialism mean you have to be on your uppers to vote for it? How brainwashed.

The land owning aristocracy inherited it and have laws in place to maintain it. You are not very bright.

You are the biggest whinger I know here. Those you do whinge are all petty Tories, just like you. Sad but true.

I bet that your parents voted Conservative.....

So why do you think that TB isn't interested in maintaining the tradition?

Why would one want to either way?

Nope as they were intelligent.

The poor don't pay, Those that are well off do.

Because it prevents stupid greedy people, like yourself, from taking over.

It is unknown to me as I don't watch that crap.

A very eclectic selection, so if the stylophonist is piddled it'll be One Song To The Tune Of Another, and even more fun for all attending. Runrig's Precious Years ("It's all over now, no more summers in heaven") should give everyone a lift.

I assume DIY funerals are on-topic for this group. Now, for the coffin: MDF or shuttering board?

LOL! Our 'children' were born in 1960, 62, 63, 66 and 68. I still bet that at least the youngest will know about the film - if it's as cutting edge as I believe was implied. Of course I could be wrong - it has been known :-)

If the film is 30 years old I was to busy rearing them to go to the pictures.

And what makes you think I was ever an undergraduate? Our socialising didn't involve film-going, which is about as unsociable an (albeit passive) activity as I can imagine.

I know, I drove various Transits for quite a long time. But sure you've heard of the reputation of White Van Man?

Not ugly, just powerful and wise :-)
