Reliable source for Digital Toslink Optical splitter cable

I'd go for a powered active repeater, rather than a passive optical splitter, e.g.

The gold plating serves no purpose what so ever. The connection is optical and the gold plated surfaces of the lead will plug into a black plastic mating half. It's just marketing bullshit.

Only if the electrons flow the correct way down the oxygen free directional mains cable. You also have to use a Russ Andrews SuperFuse in the mains plug at £25 each.
