"Britain Begins" by Barry Cunliffe.

Its pretty good though there are some amazing mistakes 'global warming after the last ice age caused the seas to rise 150km' was one corker.

Unfortunetaley for those with fixed ideas about the past, it turns out to be massively complicated with artefacts and DNA and mitochondrial DNA all gieving different pictures of post ice age Britain but there is a wealth of detail - and its cheaper now than wot I paid!

I don't think it's just *our* culture 'they' want to destroy, but European culture in general.
