Odd Scam...what is the point of this?

ChatGPT is going to help them with that ...

Fantasy.

Nope.

Even the government fail to reach that standard

Why on Earth would you do that?

Last year I got a call. "This is Lloyds bank, I'd like to ask you some security questions". He was confused when I laughed out loud down the 'phone, and asked "How stupid do you think I am?". Worryingly nobody else had, and he did appreciate why when I explained.

It turned out it really was Lloyds.

I think I've already accounted how Barclays sent me a text asking me to ring them, *giving the number to ring*; I checked and it was correct, and rang them, but the person I spoke to didn't realise the potential security risk of such a practice.

I plan a little test when if and they next ring me. Only the bank and I know the correct answers to the security questions, so I plan to tell them that I will give them answers but if they are scammers, they won't know whether they're the right or wrong answers. Their reaction and reaction to the answers will give me an idea as to whether they're genuine.
