Duh, It makes it warm up quicker. (Or so my wife seems to believe).

I take it you have never used a foam gun ;)
well sometimes you just can't get it into position the right way up

,,,,but with a normal aerosol (I realise some are special) - you only spay a "dip tube worth" of product and then propellant.
An elderly relative always had useless aerosols - he could hear there was something in, but it wouldn't come out!
a minority of aerosols are intended to be used upside down. And you can use regular ones that way to get the gas out but not the liquid product - occasionally useful.
It does if you have proportional control.
Most don't.
It clears the nozzle ready for next time.

Ones for marking out groundworks.

No, he said AEROSOL !
And in those cases you may need to switch orientations back and forth to recharge the dip tube to get another small "dose" into the right location.
Like getting some freezer spray out of a can of air duster :-)
It does on my CH system :-)
Rude boy!

I was thinking Mr Sheen and WD40. I realise some specialist ones are intended for use nozzle down.
I've some emolient spray that can be used any way up. The emolient is in a flexible bag and the propellant is between the bag and the can, so it just squeezes the bag and forces the contents out.
People who give drills a wiggle cause no harm as far as I know, as for aerosols upside down, very handy to get the last bit out, though shaking is my preference. Other things that niggled me. People who park two wheels on footway but do not retract their mirrors when they are in fact retractable, and then whinge when I bump into them or they get broken.
Rubbish and recycling wheelie bins all over the footway cos the contractors cannot be arsed to put them back.
The police who use the most noisy helicopter known to man at 4am to chase a moped thief.
People who buy cars too long to fit their driveways, added minus points if they also have a towing hook.
Road work contractors who route pedestrians out into the traffic with no protection at all, then all go home for days leaving it like that.
People who hover around bus queues then shove in front just as you are trying to get on.
High streets where nobody has thought where all the waste should go resulting in black bags and bins all over the place attracting flies in the summer.
A boards outside shops placed directly in the main flow of pedestrians causing multiple collisions due to most people being on their phones and bumping into them. Parents who use their child in a buggy as a battering ram or some kind of passport to stop traffic by pushing them into the lane where there is no official crossing.
Should I go on?
Brian
It is indeed strange, the things that come up in conversation though, is it not? Brian
