Today I've bought a new immersion cylinder with 2 coils.
Hope to connect it to the existing rayburn and water tank tomorrow.
The second coil is for fitting to a solar vacuum water heater in the Spring.
Can I leave it disconnected?
I believe I shouldn't light the rayburn with no water in as it would crack the tank, but this copper wouldnt get above 100 degrees C so is it OK to leave the second coil disconnected?
