Is this a joke?
I for one found it hilarious anyway. :-D
It's got a diode built in, so possibly you've inserted it into the plug the wrong way round ?
(Is all this for real ?)
How would that work - its 230V ac?
Oh dear
You shouldn't question such things, Mark. After all, it's as bargain as it's more expensive at "The Expert's" website:

You didn't spend enough. All these sort of things get better the more money you spend.
I gonna try one of these

Is it the 1st April already?
Helpfully, the logo of the outfit that makes them is a diode in series with a capacitor, and the logo being on the side is not describing what's in the fuse. So we can rest easy that this fuse doesn't in fact have any diodes in, which would cause a Really Bad Day for your hifi.
Thankfully, all it contains is a bit of fusewire and some premium sand.

Have you checked carefully the rating on your fuse? The link refers to
13A but the photo is of a fuse marked 16A, a difference which could surely account for your disappointment - and very possibly cause interference in the sub-etha.1) Will it fix my dodgy Denon tuner-amp problems ?. 2) If it isn't made by Russ Andrews then it cannot possibly be worth the cost.
It's German, where, correct me if I'm wrong, they do not have fuses in their plug, so HOW did they test it ?.
Clearly they had advance knowledge of Kwackers tax cutting announcements
I'll bet you forgot to apply the DeoxIT Gold to the end caps before fitting the fuse. That's the only way you get lower distortion and a more rounded sound.
Errr, I have quite a portfolio of bridges, if you're interested.
Unfortunately this page seems to be only on archive.org

... enjoy
Ah, *now* you're talking! Finally a company that takes "bottle-neck distortion" seriously. ;-)
