Have you got the "plug-on GSM module?"
The manual says it can directly SMS you as a keyholder, quite apart from the Alarm Receiving Centre functionality.

Hi All,
My house alarm (Galaxy Series 2) has a feature to send an SMS to my mobile when the alarm goes off. Recently it stopped working and now fails with a "comms error". I had this issue a few years ago and it was to do with the message centre number having issues/ was discontinued. I am currently using 07045607101. I did some googling for the number and it seems (as far as I can tell) that because they can no longer charge premium rate for an 070 number it has changed to 09117329997 or 448726149997. Also I uncovered companies which seem to provide free registration and will then SMS and Email you.
thanks in advance
Lee.
Unfortunately not. It uses the land line to dial a number which then some how enables the SMS to be sent.
If you go to the forums on the Ultimate Handyman website, I think there is a sub-section devoted to alarms which is inhabited by alarm installers who would probably be able to answer your question.
So if the crook cuts the line.... Brian
