Then it did start to remind me of some connectors by Bulgin, any thing match?

I was also thinking maybe Bulgin, or Molex

There's a Bulgin plug here (Ebay 297387736125) that looks similar.

I was thinking about the plug and socket arrangement in a cordless pole hedge trimmer. My Qualcast M0E-7ET-410 has a connector that looks the same and I suspect it may be common to other makes because some people seem to sell pole extensions.

A bit of searching suggests they are made by Stiga, and are common on mowers and other agricultural kit.

They are used by Stiga but I doubt if they make them. I'm trying to find the real manufacturer so I can buy some at a slightly more reasonable proce than Stiga charge for them (via their resellers).

The mark-up on Stiga spares is huge, belts for example can be bought for a third of the price of 'genuaine' Stiga ones and are just as good, if not better. It's fairly easy to measure belts and find equivalents. I was just hoping I might be able to de the same with these sockets.

The S on the front is the logo of Schneider Electric, and so:

Pricing however looks similar to the Stiga part, although there are refurbs seemingly available?
