Easy. Just run the pickup over it.

Isn't it time you invested in underfloor heating?

i dont think i could afford a jcb to lift the floor when i get a leak

Why would you get a leak?

well i think its proportional, ie quality/quantity of joints / fittings along with quality of fitter, in combination with murphy laws

1,2,3,4 and 5 the more ya got the more trouble you will get or i may be wrong disclaimer i have no connection with jcb or murphy plant

That's why in a properly desined UFH installation the number of joints under the floor is exactly zero.

And teh whioole system is presuireisd before you lay the floor.

Just in case.

Even murphpy can't get round that.
