I'm happy to buy a drum of the correct cable for pretty well any app - the only exception being the large TW&E or SWA where I'd go for cut. It gets used - eventually.

No, it's the ball-of-cable-inna-box is so easy to carry home from where the datacoms chap left it in the office :-)
