bath shower door/screen water seal

I have a Wickes bath shower door but the clear plastic bottom seal as seen better days although the door is only a couple of years old,I have asked at wickes for replacements but with no luck. Can any reader advise where these can be purchased, Glass is 5m/m thick the seal is a u channel which is a push fit onto glass with a tubular section bonded to it to create the screen/bath seal

That sounds and looks like what my shower screen uses .I tried before to get some but failed .Hope you have better luck . I found that over time it gets compressed and sems to harden resulting in a lack of "seal" ...i tried pushing wire in to the tubular section to open it out to make the seal better ...You would imagine that shower screens use the same type of seal wouldn't you .?. Thanks for the link - I think you've just saved me a lot of money!! (I've been trying to sort out shower screens to fit into an angle of the roof; manufacturers won't play ball.)

For my wet room I looked at all the specialist shower screen manufacturers' catalogues, then decided getting a local glass shop (who happen to be Preedy's) to make up a screen to order was a much better way to get what I wanted.

A reminder to everyone buying a shower screen or a door that uses a seal.Find out when you buy it where you can get replacement seals and buy a spare at the same time ..
