I notice they had put a seal on the service connector block splitting the tails to the two CUs. Seems a bit cheeky since that is the customer's "side" of the installation rather than the DNO's

You would assume that they test the polarity at the socket before and after the meter is swapped

They did the same to my (supplied and fitted by me) isolator switch (both input and output side), when they fitted a smart meter for our EV charging plan. I did think it a bit cheeky, but it's mine and if I want access to it, the seals will come right off.
