Where did that turnip prize originate?

I'd never heard of it till a couple of years ago. I think the funniest story was the male chastity belt controlled by Bluetooth by the partner, no doubt as a sex game, and why not, which malfunctioned and had to be cut off. Note to designers of sex toys, Make them fail safe. Could be some interesting court cases. Brian
