Anybody else using verizon AOL mail having outgoing problem!s? Using a mail client...not web mail. Thanks.

AOL still exists?! Isn't that pretend internet for kids?
change your settings from smtp.verizon.net to smtp.aol.com and before you have issues change your incoming to pop.aol.com
hi thanks/ the incoming was working, just outbound was taking forever to go.. I changed both in and out servers as you suggested but no change.. the in still works but out does not.
my web mail interface to the same account works fine
aol tech support is useless unless you pay them and i'm not about to pay them to fix their problem.

Ass-hoes On Line changed their email server settings without notifying anyone.
Read the last 3 pages of the AOL email thread in the FIOS forum at DSLreports.com.
Cat, thank you for that suggestion. I got the info I needed there to get it working. Vz is shutting off their servers and the new AOL servers Require different port settings. Thanks Mark
