I found a sweet solution to dual monitors:

Nothing like as wide as my dual monitors.
My dual monitors didn’t cost anything like that.
I don’t.
No downside for me, I''m not stupid enough to need anything spread over both monitors at once with an aspect ratio that is nothing like the original material.
I have separate screens on the two monitors and can have 3 or 4 when that’s useful too.
I turned a 9x16 32" TV on end, set the display to portrait mode and stack 2 or maybe 3 windows on it. That saves a lot of desk space.
