Garbage disposal

I have a Merson 1/2 HP garbage disposal under my sink.

I have never heard of that brand before and I can find no reference to it on line.

Has anyone any information on this unit?

Looks like Emersons are made by Insinkerator...

Then possibly it's Supposed to say "Emerson" but some clod in whatever non-USA location where it was made screwed up on designing the label.

Maybe if you can find a model number on it you can Google that number plus "disposal" and come up with something.

I'm fresh out of ideas, so I regretfully resign from this thread...
