Common button batteries stocking & sourcing

I'm starting to get tired of button batteries in that some home items use LR41, others LR44, still others are LR1130 etc.

Is there a "kit" like they do with o-rings and screws and nuts and bolts that most of you buy that have a set of each of the commonest button batteries?

It's crazy to drive 30 miles round trip for a single battery at the store when they might not even have them in stock.

Where do you stock them in bulk?

Probably, but the one you need won't be in the kit.

That's why Amazon was invented. P.S. most stores these days have phones. Call and ask someone to put eyes on what you need. Don't trust their inventory system. They seem to be getting worse and worse lately.

I don't, but Amazon does.

Keep one of each you use for a spare and order from Amazon as needed. They bring them to you.

Buy a bunch of them-- cheap-- from any of the highly rated battery sellers on Ebay. They sell them in strips of 5, 10, 20 or more. Look for sellers who either specify freshness or list the use-by dates.

I get a strip of 5, sometimes 10, for a buck or two more than what a single button battery costs at a local retailer.
