I removed some old brick work, and the mason slipped and damaged the exterior sheathing. I want to fix it, but not sure what the best way to replace it is. The current material looks like 1inch thick wood boards (house built in 1960s)
Any advice?

How are those 2 issues related? What was the sequence of events?

Agree, it's hard to tell anything from that photo.
If I had to guess, that looks more like water damage than a clumsy mason.
I hope that's wrong. But if it is correct, then water is getting behind the brick veneer, and you're going to want to solve that before replacing the sheathing. If you do that correctly it shouldn't matter much what you replace the sheathing with.

Human nature. I worked the help desk at my job, and it was like pulling teeth to get customers to provide enough information.
It's actually only 2. Without the space before Hub it would be only one. (and I suspect that the space was a typo, so without that error it's one word)
