Time for Fretwell to tell us again that their success is because Australia is an island.

Being an island helps along with having a very compliant population who will put up with house arrest without due process..

I knew we could count on you. Since you're still with the island thing, cite for us the evidence that entry across our borders with Mexico or Canada was a significant source of infection. Early on we reached agreement with both countries to ban all non-essential travel. You know, kind of like what an island can do? That would leave illegal entry as a vector and again, never heard anything about that being of any signifance. The US was way ahead in infection than either Canada or Mexico, that's why Trump reached an agreement with Trudeau, he was going to ban travelers entering Canada, because we were infecting them.

Agreement ? with Trudeau .. ?

To my knowledge, the travel restrictions still exist -

- with some minor tweaks - as they have since ~ March. Our news has carried the stories of Alaskan travellers ignoring the drive-through rules to sight-see in British Columbia ; wealthy executives flying in on private jets with phoney " essential " reasons and then ignoring the quarantine rules ; etc ... why should we be worried about US travellers ? when everyone knows how Americans respect the sovereignty and rules and customs of all other countries ..
