Would be interesting to get to the truth on that. From all that I've heard, I thought the govt has handed out billions to pharmaceutical companies for speculative execution on making huge quantities of the vaccines that have shown promise. On 60 Mins last night the general said the govt has spent $12 bil so far, he didn't say for exactly what, though part of the program was about already going forward with huge volume production. But I would take Pfizer's word for it. And if they didn't get money, did their competitors?
