That is the big unknown. They never said it was 100% effective. What we don't know is what if they had no shot? Would it have been the same? Less? or deadly? After effects?

Par for the course. This year's flu vaccine missed the boat completely. The last I heard they were claiming < 16%. That doesn't bode well for the annual combo deal they're talking about. Except for the companies selling the shots of course.

Different matter entirely, the flu mutates much faster and with so many isolating and masking, that saw the flu infect hardly any world wide, and so it was very hard to predict which strains would dominate this time.
