I havea simple round thermo. with the opposite problem, temp gets 10-15 deg. higher than set--how do you adjust? this is a new thermostat.

You will need an ampmeter to adjust the heat anticipator on the thermostat to the correct amperage for your system. If you have the old thermostat you can try adjusting the new on to the same seting as the old one.
