What a Joke! Pat has an extremely high regard for herself, something that others do not necessarily share. We have ove 2 years of her archived posts in at least 2+ zipped files. If you want a copy, please respond here. We would recommend that you use a tossable email account. Any requests from 24.229.82.233.msns.man.ptd.ne or pair.com will be ignored. You will recieve the files anonymously so set your filters accordingly. Watch for the Pat Meadows Usenet Kook FAQ coming shortly. If you would like to contribute to this FAQ please post here and we will take any reasonable suggestions into considerment. TIA

I have a fair regard for her input. len

All that you have said, makes me believe that you are a part of the problem. I don't want archives, I can get them myself. So who the hell are you?

I suggest you stop being a cowardly jerk trying to stir up trouble while hiding behind a fake name.

Regards, Steve

You are wrong on both counts. Pat's reports have been both interesting and informative, and untinged with any "my way is the only way" slant. If she needs to avoid commercial plagerizing, I'm very sorry to see her go.

I usually try to avoid entering flame wars, but this is just *too* nasty. Rather like seeing a friend's home vandalized with graffiti.

Please know, Pat, that every computer-user isn't like this.

Thanks!

It's better not to feed the troll. If everyone on the group ignores it, it will go elsewhere. If you answer, you are giving it what it craves and needs.

Please don't feed the trolls!

Pat

Over in rec.eq, we use the following sign:

+--------------------+ | PLEASE DO NOT FEED | | THE TROLL. | | THANK YOU. | | -- The Management | +--------------------+ | | | | O o | | | __\|/___=\| |/=_\|/____

This guy is not a troll. he is a perv

I know that, and almost never respond. But this was *so* nasty and mean-spirited. As I wrote, like a neighbor's house being spray-painted. Makes one want to go and scrub it off before it's seen.

Well, hope you're coping with extremely variable weather. Sometimes the warm spells (low 60s with light rain today ahead of a cool front in Tidewater) are more damaging than "seasonal" cold. Have your greens to hand for a New Year's meal? I wonder if store-bought "baby" spinach qualifies. I *can* add genuine black-eyed peas. Perhaps the warm spell will be good for germinating Kaffir lime seeds someone kindly sent me.
