This should be a bit more reliable:
Dry 1780kg/m3 Wet 1920 kg/m3 Compacted 2080 kg/m3
It depends how much cat crap it contains.
What's the size of the local pussy cat population?
BTW. Meakins sell it in bulk at quite a good price IIRC.
About 2 tablespoonfuls will provide enough sand to be sprinkled throughout a small family house for > 10 grains of sand to be found in every room once a month for the next seven years.
