TOTALLY off Topic But Really Cool

What led you to that video? I ask because just the other night I somehow end up spending an hour watching videos of all different kinds of military planes flying through Mach Loop, Wales.

I wonder if we started at the same place and then went off wandering. I sure didn't open youtube looking for what I ended up up watching. (That happens way too often!)

Can't imagine what is is like to fly one. Or to pay for the fuel for a short trip across the country.

And for air breathing propulsion they may forever be the fastest guys on the block.

Oddly, a new home builder video.

They leak jet fuel till the skin warms up to seal the tanks. But the A-12 airframe is 57 years old, think on that. Marvel at the planes Kelly Johnson built for the USA.

No doubt they leak, ;~) The exterior looks like it has had more than one patch with Flex Seal Leak Sealer. LOL

I'll be looking for a video on how to install a hitch on my new van and the next thing I know I'm watching dogs surf. ;-)

First flight was in 1962. And there is still nothing faster in sustained horizontal flight. The amazing thing isn't that it's fast, it's that that's its _cruise_ speed.

Of course if Reagan had kept his mouth shut and not gotten the National Pork Distribution Administration involved, Copper Canyon might be flying now.
